Supporting camp and related businesses in the Adirondacks

Thirteenth Lake, formerly operating Point O’Pines Camp for Girls, draws on decades of experience in the Adirondack camp industry. We continue to support camp and related businesses.

A continuing role in the camp community

Thirteenth Lake works with a group of businesses and properties connected with camping and outdoor operations, providing services and practical support.

Our experience comes from the everyday work of running a residential camp: caring for a place, supporting its people, and understanding what it takes to create a meaningful summer experience.

Why we believe in camp

Getting up on water skis for the first time. The courage to try again. Learning to share a cabin, lend a hand, and be a friend.

We believe these everyday moments help children build character, confidence, independence, and resilience. Camps offer room to take on new challenges, form lasting friendships, and discover what it means to belong to a community.

In the Adirondacks, those experiences unfold among lakes and mountains, where an appreciation for the outdoors can grow alongside a stronger sense of self.

Our history at Point O’Pines

Point O’Pines Corporation was the operator of Point O’Pines Camp for Girls in Brant Lake, New York. The Himoff family’s decades of involvement in Point O’Pines shaped our understanding of residential camping and our belief in its lasting value.

Following the camp’s transition to new ownership in 2026, we are beginning a new chapter as Thirteenth Lake. We carry forward the Himoff family’s connection to the Adirondack camp community through our continuing support of camp and related businesses.
